Note:

The Delancey Street Theater does not have any theater marquee or lighted signage that tells you you're at the correct location. The theater is not visible from the street, as it is in the middle of a large residential apartment complex that shows no signs of any movie theater type structure. The only sign that shows you are in the right place is the "600" Embarcadero address, next to a large gated entrance. This is half a block away from the Delancey Street Restaurant, on the corner of Embarcadero and Brannan Streets. If you have never been to this location before, please be sure to arrive early to allow sufficient time to pick up tickets for your screening.


Using public transit:

In San Francisco
Take the Muni Metro N line/inbound towards the PacBell ballpark - get off on Embarcadero Street, between Brannan and Townsend Streets.

From the Peninsula and the South Bay - San Mateo and Santa Clara
Take Caltrain from stations throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo counties - once at the Fourth and King Street Station, take the Muni Metro N line from the west corner of King St and Fourth St. Get off on Embarcadero Street, between Brannan and Townsend Streets.

Or take BART from Colma or Daly City to downtown San Francisco. Then walk or transfer to Muni Metro (transfer from BART to MUNI N-Line at Civic Center, Powell, Montgomery or Embarcadero). Take the Muni Metro N line from the west corner of King St. and Fourth St.
Get off on Embarcadero Street, between Brannan and Townsend Streets.

From the East Bay - Alameda and Contra Costa
Take BART to Embarcadero or Montgomery Stations and walk or transfer to Muni Metro (N-Line/inbound). Take the Muni Metro N line from the west corner of King St. and Fourth St.
Get off on Embarcadero Street, between Brannan and Townsend Streets.


Directions by Car:

From the Peninsula/South Bay
Take 1-280 north (or I-101 north to I-280 north) to the King Street exit. Continue straight onto Embarcadero Street. The theater is at 600 Embarcadero St., between Brannan and Townsend Streets.

From the East Bay/Bay Bridge
Take the Harrison/Embarcadero exit from the left lanes of the Bay Bridge. This is the first exit off of the Bay Bridge.
At the bottom of the off ramp turn right onto Harrison Street. Go 3 blocks on Harrison, turn right on Embarcadero, and then go another 3 blocks to 600 Embarcadero. 600 Embarcadero is on the right hand side, just after Delancey Street Restaurant.

From the North Bay
Take Highway 101 south/Golden Gate Bridge to the Marina Blvd. exit. Continue on Marina Blvd. past Fort Mason and turn left onto Bay Street. Continue on Bay and turn right onto the Embarcadero. The theater is at 600 Embarcadero St, between Brannan and Townsend Streets.

On street parking available on and nearby Embarcadero Street. Usually to be found within a couple long blocks of the entrance.

Please note that Embarcadero Street is swept by street machines by the City of San Francisco each night at 12:00am. If you leave your car parked on Embarcadero Street after 12:00am, it will be issued a ticket of at least $35.00.

City Parking is located 1 block north of the Delancey Street Theater location on 600 Embarcadero, entrance on Bryant Street only.

On-street parking only available for 1 hour time limit; meters checked 24 hours a day throughout the weekend, on and nearby Embarcadero Street. Do not plan to leave your car on Embarcadero Street for longer than 1 hour. $25.00+ DPT tickets will be given at all hours, Saturday and Sunday included. Other public metered on-street parking available, but a few long blocks away on 2nd and Townsend, free only after 6:00pm. Take public transportation if at all possible.
